Most of my stories begin with something small. A bird’s nest in my son’s backpack. My Paati (grandmother) waiting for me to help her to the bathroom. A TV I stare at without turning on. I write them down before I forget how they felt.

I grew up in South India and live in the Bay Area now, with my wife, our son, and our dog. I write software during the day. The rest of the time, I am writing stories or out somewhere with a camera.

My stories have appeared in Five Minutes, Weeds & Wildflowers, Microcosm, and ILLUMINATION.
